I think everyone can agree these regular season series have been an overwhelming success. 

So much more intensity. More animosity. More storylines and rivalries. Overall, just more fun to watch. 

Sprinkle in a few out of conference games here and there and your schedule is set. Do it NHL.

Yep, agree. Would still love to play Caps, Rangers, Sabres etc....but less west coast trips would aid the league in my mind. (And help my sleep)

I'd still rather go back to the normal scheduling. This is great for this season, but I still like the idea of having at least 1 home game against every other team, and just a more spread out season. While games like this have been intriguing I've also already gotten tired of playing some teams, like Columbus. I could see them changing up the divisions going forward, especially with Seattle entering next season too.
