Keenim was close. Didn’t disagree. And if they are paying it down, of course it changes everything. They should get a pick if they spend 10M.  Before, with that 10M attached, it was 17M for this year. As it is, are teams going to want to pay even the 7M he would still have coming. Judging by what the others have accepted, it’s not that far fetched.

Counterpoint is why would a team give Andy Dalton 10M? Kind of destroyes my point.

Theres plenty of bad/questionable moves this off-season, par tho. Im still not buying any team wants Teddy above a lower vet type deal. Hes got to give up that 7 million and maybe then (with other stuff), a team would take him as a mentor/insurance guy. Hes going to be getting than starting Cam too...Herniaymagic leftd a upper decker in Teppers office.....

I will move my 3/10 rating of Frittererer up two whole points if hes able to get ANY draft capital for Teddy. I think it could be the rare player for player deal too, a small chance.

Still think Ian is doing Frittererer a big favor by broadcasting this lie...

Spot on.

Zero chance ''multiple teams" are interested...

...Panthers wouldn't have ever given Teddy's camp "permission" if there was ANY interest, at all.

He can keep the $7 million and stay here as a "mentor/insurance guy".

Frankly, that's the best course of action for all parties.

They don’t want him here, and he won’t be here. He doesn’t want to be a backup, why would any qb want that?

Say Teddy gets traded to WFT and next year they go deep in the playoffs and Sam sucks.

Is the staff at fault then???

Or will there be more excuses...

Cam look better than Teddy before he caught Covid-19, I'm just saying.

Teddy might do good over there, and Rhule might look like he can't evaluate QBs

Well, given that we have reports that they have been shopping him for weeks with no luck and that we gave Teddy the chance to pursue his own trade.....are we sure that Fitterer deserves any credit?

    • Thin sliced roast beef, provolone, and roasted bell peppers on a toasted sub roll.  At least one thing is going right today. I don't trust anyone who's never put Bugles on their fingertips to make witch fingers.
    • But yeh,  Bryce is the only problem on this sorry excuse of a team. You could put Tom Brady on this team and we would still suck . Worst part is Tepper and his various band of clowns have been trying to build a competitive team for 7 freaking years and are no closer now than when it all started.
    • Regardless of the trade and where he was picked, Bryce actively created deception. He wore a hoodie to the combine and was 15 lbs heavier because he packed on water weight because he didnt weigh near 200 lbs. He didn't participate in drills in a wide open 4 way, really 3, QB bid. Then there was all this hype over the S2 test that he had been practicing that we've never heard about in the draft process since. Does anyone think it was an accident Stroud's score on the S2 was released? Stroud said forget the score, watch his tape. Wonder why. There was a whole bunch of shady poo going on surrounding Bryce pre draft, and I for one, find it all a little too convenient.  Just my opinion, but he was a used car salesman that used some armor all and a wash n wax and maybe a set of white walls then schmoozed his way at dinner with Dave and Nicole and sold them that he was a super savant.  There was a whole lot of BS swirling around the BY hype train and he was a full fledged participant. Frank didn't want Bryce, he wanted Stroud. A new head coach does not pick a QB he has to go design a brand new offense around unless that guy is a generationaltalent, which Bryce was most definitely not. He picks the guy that best fits what he does and that was Stroud. This was Dave and Nicole's pick and they fuged this team like they've done over and over again since they've been here. They fell for use car salesman Rhule, then used car salesman Bryce and company. And the fans got stuck with the 4 years of payments on a car less reliable than Al Bundy's Dodge.
