Teddy only had 2 2nd-half TD passes in 2020, none after Wk 4

I don't recall seeing this mentioned from an angle of either Teddy or Brady and found it interesting. Robby's long-YAC TD vs the Raiders in Week 1 (3rd quarter) and a goal line throw in Week 4 (4th quarter) were the 2. 10 TD passes were in the 2nd quarter and 3 in the 1st (15 total)

For Teddy, in his 2 years starting at Minnesota 5 of the 14 TDs he threw each season were in the 2nd half; only 12 of the 43 TDs he's thrown as a full-time starter were in the second half of games. In NO, however, the mix was 5 2nd half and 4 1st half (9 total), though 4 of the 9 total TDs were thrown against the abysmal TB pass defense that year.

My opinion on Teddy is known and this supports it further for me, but it's also on the board to watch from Brady this year. Darnold, by comparison, was over 60% 2nd half his first year, 43% his second, and 33% his third.

So basically Darnold or whomever is the next long term starter would have to be the worst quarterback in NFL history to be worse than Bridgewater.

Yeah I kind of remember being baffled by some of the play calling in the 4th quarter specifically. Obviously this has been a Teddy problem since his time with the Vikings but it’s definitely something to watch with Brady.

Also how much are we going to be able to tell with Darnold? If he was the second worst that doesn’t bode well.

Well if he didn't pretend DJ was a defensive back in the fourth quarter, he'd have gotten a few more because he missed him wide-open on multiple occasions. The worst, though, was DJ wide, wide open in the end zone to beat the Vikings and Teddy -- standing about eight yards away -- threw the ball about 10 feet too high and about 5 feet too far left.

Lets be honest shall we. You did not make this post for any other reason but..

A) To continue the shitstorm on Teddy and join the many that want to crap all over him

B) Speak up your hopefulness of Darnold (I think many are hopeful) but do so for a QB that for the most part was equally as bad in general. 

You try to disguise comparing you nearly equal piles of poo by complicating it with a nuance of comparing not only the color of the poo, but also the texture, smell, and location ( hence your mention of Brady)

But really....you just wanted to make a post of about how bad you feel Teddy is.  Congrats.

I just meant with Brady’s play calling in the second half. I remember being kind of like this play calling sucks at times.
