Super Bowl record of teams with turf on their home fields since 2010

What really matters is are these numbers statistically significant. Not sure 60% is a strong majority.

Also would be curious to see how the players feel about it. I didn’t play football in high school or college for that matter but most of the athletes I knew preferred grass.

they don't support a position that turf HELPS you win super bowls, but they sure as hell unseat the huddle's insistence that the football sky is falling, and that's what this is all about.

Is there something kind of cool about grass? Yes. Is this something I really care about? no

that's what this boils down to.

turf has zero effect on fans or on the aesthetics of the game (unless you like mud pits, which are dangerous to players.)

if nfl fans cared about player safety they'd turn off their televisions and bankrupt the sport because it's a modern day gladiator sport, and they'd support every single measure to change the rules to improve player safety, but instead they reflexively bitch the second a ref throws a flag on a linebacker for driving his helmet into the side of another man's head.

no, reflexive bitching is woven into the fabric of the american football fan whose inherent selfishness reveals itself in castrated heritage arguments.

Many generate their self worth from their ability or inability to brag about a competition they are not involved in and the surface this competition is held on, apparently.

the only owner in the nfl to do so, undoubtedly

you think that because it’s new it’s progressive and thus are apologizing for inherently unprogressive things

turf isn’t helping teams win super bowls

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
