Apparently it's Sam Hartman, a quarterback from Wake Forest.

Sam Hartman seemed like a real solid guy if you go off of the Netflix show “QB1.”

He was on season 2 of the show if anyone is interested. Lots of stuff on the internet about him.

Another oddity: One of the guys pictured lining up as a receiver is Jets WR Braxton Berrios.

I'd assume he is here wiht the team because he is buddies with SD. Interesting note is that he is in the last year of his contract with the Jets, and on the fringe of that roster due to their offseason and drafting.

Plays slot and can return.... not the best return man, but interesting to see him there

Figured. He's also originally from Raleigh and is dating McCaffrey's girlfriend's sister.

Wouldda thought rules would have prevented him from working with another team. Guess not.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
