I moved from a Southern California beach town, surrounded by agriculture, to middle Tennessee.  I focused on the similarities when I moved here, you can always find them, I’m surrounded by agriculture here as I was back home, small town mentality is the same.

You focus on that to be happy.

Yeah.  I get that.  Sounds right.   Well, nothing should make him feel at home

like beating the living tar out of the Panthers opponents.  I hope he focuses on that to make him happy. 😉

My girlfriend had a job interview last week and that looks like the same couch. She sent me this pic. So proud of her.

Just that old southern redneck accent confused with words like were, was, is saw and seen. Charlotte feels like a small town because…it is one. I’d actually call it a mid sized city. But I population size is skewed because of the area that actually counts as ‘Charlotte’.

I do miss the trees though and it is a nicer city, no doubt about that.

Those trees you speak of are becoming new houses by the minute.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
