Kyle Allen was too at one point. And he is not as good as even Allen. Y'all are weird.

Will Grier has no business being in the NFL.

PJ Walker at this point, belongs battling for depth on a NFL roster.   He actually did his job the one time he was legitimately called upon.

1. With an improved front 7, Burns gets 15 sacks, tying the franchise record, and makes his first Pro Bowl.

2. Carolina sweeps the Bucs in Weeks 16 and 18, with the Week 16 game coming down to the final play.

3. With Chinn, DJax, Bouye, and Horn, Thieves Avenue returns and finishes as a Top-5 secondary.

4. DJ Moore has a career year, earning him a 2nd-Team All-Pro.

5. At 11-6, Carolina narrowly makes the playoffs for the first time since 2017, but comes up short in the divisional round.

Wow.  That is a hell of a first post.

My 3 bold predictions that I stand firmly by........

1) Carolina's defense will be top 10 defense

2) Brian burns will be the 2021-22 NFL defensive player of the year

3) Panthers make the playoffs and win at least one playoff game

I'm basing this off of the fact that Panthers front 7 is extremely fast to go along with a much approved secondary. overall athletic defense with at least 4 players who can play multiple positions on defense. They will give opposing offensive coordinators nightmares

My 5 bold predictions.

Darnold will put up career highs in TDs and yards and his interceptions will be a career low.

Brown will make the probowl.

DJ not Anderson will emerge as our biggest downfield threat.

The defense will go from the bottom ten in pressures, sacks, and opposing QB rating to the top 10 in all three categories.

The offense is going to start slow but will bail out the defense in the last quarter of the season. (Includes Tampa twice)

My 5 Bold Predictions,

1. CMC will end the year with more receiving yards than rushing yards

2. Jeremy Chinn will make the Pro Bowl as a Safety

3. Donte Jackson will lead the NFC in collecting interceptions

4. Joey Slye will make at least one game winning FG

5. Our starting offensive line will have at least 3 new starters by the end of the year (It will be completely reshuffled)

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
