What I am seeing from this fluff piece is that a team with a huge gap at second level with their current mundane linebacker core and they are making parsons a joker backer instead of a traditional MLB (their biggest weakness).

Considering McCarthy's past with how he handles his defense ... Cowboys are heading for another swirl in their positional leadership on their defense.
