From the recent Greg Little thread, this idea came to me. What are the biggest Panthers draft busts(Top 3 Rounds limited)? Here is a link to our all-time draft history to reference. State your case for the all-time biggest bust.

Sorry I missed where you said all time biggest.  That's probably Brown.

But Jason was a huge disappointment.

I believe a pretty strong case can be made for Biakabutuka, Otah, and Clausen based on cost vs results....honorable mention for Rashard Anderson

Do I need to state my case for these three candidates?  Their body of work (or absence) is self evident.

Rae Carruth - for many reasons.

Heck, Atiyyah Ellison was a third rounder who didn't even make the roster.

A lot of people probably don't even remember his name because he was here for such a short time.

Jeff Otah has to be on that list.

Vernon Butler never gets mentioned, but is definitely Top3

Jimmy Clausen and Armanti Edwards should tie for 3rd.

Clausen, Otah, and Carruth.  Since Carruth is a "special case", I'd offer Little as a replacement assuming his trajectory remains unchanged.

The question wasn't if he was any good - it was biggest bust.  We traded a fortune to get him, he never performed that well and was out of the league in less than 3 years.  For a first round pick, 19th overall that is horrendous. 

Not to mention his trade caused a 3-yr domino of bad trades out of the first round for Brown and Clausen - so he gets more guilt for causing the train wreck - like the last car in a pileup.  He is well regarded as the biggest draft day blunder in franchise history by many sites.

When he was healthy? You mean both games? There's a difference between bad luck and being 100lbs over weight

 Biakabatuka and Otah weren't busts. They were derailed by injuries. I wouldn't consider either as even close to busts.
