Gawd help us if  Grier is our number 2 ..   ( or Walker ) .   We have no number 2.

I wish we had a washed up, aged , former starter,  like Derek Anderson was to Cam.

Biggest problem I have with the Panthers offseason was not bringing in a second potential starting option. Whether it was drafting Fields or signing someone like Dalton, keeping Bridgewater or whoever. They needed another option.

The coaching staff and management believes they're good enough.

CmC said we have a complete offense.

Seems fans want it both ways.

I mean, those guys can't come out and say poo like, "Well, we've really miscalculated and we probably should have done more in the offseason" or "Yeah, I just don't trust these guys to block for me but I'm mostly used to that in my NFL career."

The correct answer is as long as possible.

You're not evaluating Grier and Walker - you know exactly what they bring to the table.

Darnold and the #1s should be in as long as possible - that Oline needs extended snaps to gel.

Sam darnold is not some rookie. You know what you're getting with him as well. Not with grier or with walker, let the backups play.
