Just Fields looking like hot garbage

Anyone else seeing this? Looks like a kid out there, throwing off his back foot recklessly, just fumbled a snap and then fumbled while scrambling.

Not impressed at all, may have dodged a bullet.

NGL, he looks bad right now.  I liked him for his physical tools coming out of college, but I liked Trey Lance more.  A lot more.  Mostly because Fields had the ability to take over games, but he often didn't, and he seems to either run very hot or very cold...  he is currently running frigid.

I mean, he didn't get any help on that first drive and it's his first action in the league.

But a lot of these dudes angry typing on their phones about "how dumb the Panthers" are for not selecting him I bet are about to provide all of the excuses they can

We’ve seen Cam Newton look awful in the preseason, Bortles look like the GOAT during it, and so on.

If Justin Fields played well, we'd be filled with people saying how the Panthers blew their pick.  

He plays not well?  We just need to give him time to grow and eventually be better than the Horn pick.

But, in his defense, he's not getting much help from his protection or the playcalling.  

The placement and decisions on his throws so far have not been good though, either.

Absolutely right, That said.  The hype that he has been getting before he has ever taken a regular season snap is out of this world too.

All we've heard all season is how great he has been in camp.
