Chuba had a good night.  He turned some certain yardage  losses in to 2-3 yards.  He had the longest run of the game at 14.  Not bad for a rookie. He also came back and PULLED the pile to help Darnold get across for the score.

A lot of RBs need to get into a groove. Look at the best pure runner in the league right now, Derrick Henry. He has a bunch of games where he’s sitting on like 10 carries for 30 yards and winds up with 25 carries for 150+ yards. Tough to get into a rhythm as a runner with limited touches and especially with a subpar OL. Chuba has struggled with bad drops but has shown some promise as a runner.

      I love  almost everything  we did in the offseason but we still have Bryce.  They have to be favored.     Sorry I just can’t see him as an asset yet.  His first chance to prove me wrong.    And WIliams was a LOT better last year than 2024.  He will probably still be getting better before he hits his plateau.

      Outside of both having very good straight line speed, I don't see much in common. Chark was mostly a play action Chuck it deep type of receiver. Brazzell, while raw with route running, is fully capable of running most routes. He is way better at using his body to shield defenders from the ball than chark and does a better job attacking the ball and creating a wide catch radius. Agree Brazzell will need to prove he can beat the press and I imagine he will see a lot of it when he is on the field. I still think he has quite a bit of development to go through (particularly with his route running, press beat techniques, and reading zone coverage), so I don't expect to see him on the field much this year (barring injuries)
