Love it. I do know they kicked ass and we better bring our CMCless A game though. Thank goodness they've had all week to prepare and scheme a game plan without him. If we see a bunch of Chubba drops in the flat or instant tackles, then you know we have a lot to be worried about because the scheme is CMC or bust.

They are 4th in the league in rushing yards with the 5th best yards before contact.   From what I've seen, they like to run off tackle on first down often from shotgun,  to set up the RPO and screen.

So it looks like their best in the league Pressure%, is driven by an insanely low Pocket time of 1.6s, 2nd shortest in the league.

If the play goes much longer, the OL can't hold and Dak isn't that mobile, explaining the 7 sacks (higher than ours).

Remember when the Cowboys where "America's Team" because for like 2 decades after they stopped winning? Fun times.

According to the higher viewing ratings per game, team apparel sales, and being posted as the most valuable sports team in the whole world according to Forbes...  I think they are still considered America's Team.  To those who don't think so....  when you hear the moniker America's Team, whats the first team that pops into your mind??  The Cowboys.

Anything that does not include Buck and Aikman is welcome.

Many people say they are the best in the business.  I have to agree with those people and the network agrees as well because Buck and Aikman are always assigned to the biggest/most important games every week.

I think the "D" will get to him and he won't have room to breathe.

Their fans seem to think this will be an easy win for them

That is a huge mistake to think this will be an easy win for the Cowboys.   I personally think the Panthers will win this game.  Carolina beat the Jets, Saints, and Texans who are all weaker bum teams, but I think the Panthers will put it all together to win their first game against a solid NFL team this week.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
