Is this the best Panthers pass rush in franchise history?

02, 03 and 13 had 4 down lineman just overpowering guys. Their dominant games had a different feel it to. Their hands are in the dirt and you know they’re coming.

Our pass rush feels like we’re winning the chess match each time and I’m just waiting for someone to figure us out. Burns/Reddick win with speed. It’s crazy how they keep coming free, surely some OC is going to figure something out.

Would love it log it takes all season though heheh.

Del Rio is the DC for the WFT right now. They have given up 20,29,and 43. The game has passed both of them by.

Three turnovers (two on the Washington side of the field) had a lot to do with the 43.   Even a good defense needs some help from the offense, especially nowadays when the rules are so skewed towards offense.

It hasn't been discussed much, but one of the reasons our points total this year looks so good is only 2 offensive turnovers in the first three games.

I think it could be. Even up against the days of Pepp and Rucker.

Jenkins had elite pass rusher DT skills for that time period. This is a tough call this early. Even the Hardy, KK, Star, CJ line is up there if not the best. Judging just pass rush, this current group is climbing ...

too soon for me to call

Zob since youre in a too soon mood, why not ask the real question- Who is the better defensive mind/coach - John Fox, Ron Rivera, or Phil Snow ??? What say thee?

Agreed, we had a super star in Pep, and an above average bookend in Rucker.
(Im in no way knocking Ruck, Pep was just another species.)

Right now, we have an established veteran pass rush monster in Reddick, along side another genetic freak in Burns.

add Big Bad Leroy Brown and Daquan to that and it easily tops Jenkins + 1.

As tough as it is to admit, these youngin’s got us old timers licked.

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
