So who here had us at 3-1 before the season started?

I am still very optimistic about this team. Today was a tough beat, but I still see a lot to be positive about.

Quarter through the season and we are 3-1. Before the season started I'm sure 95% of you would be happy with that outcome.

No CMAC out there today and the offense still produced. More importantly the team didn't implode. Love that the team didnt give up. Yea, the OL sucks. Not much to really do about that now.

We got boned on that forward progress call. How does that change the game if the fumble is called correctly?

Def had a rough game. Looked great in the 1st qtr and I am excited to see how we adjust for next week.

This place gets way to negative after a loss.

I didn't but I would have had I realized that the Saints would've been missing half their roster and coaching staff. Literally everyone expected the Jets and Texans to be possibly the worst two teams in the league this year.

Jets just beat the Titans. I know they are bad, but wins are wins. The Saints were missing some players, but outside of Lattimore and their center, no one that crucial to their team. Hell we were missing CMC, Horn, YGM, and Burris against Dallas… but no one is making an excuse for their win.

We're gonna be missing Horn for the rest of the year. That dude ain't playing again this season.

This. Like come on how can someone say that NO was missing this person that person etc and not even acknowledge who we were missing and still only lost by a score on the road.

Great points. Lots of folks get all butt hurt in here but the reality is that we’re gonna lose games. Especially to good teams on the road. Disappointed in our pass rush that looked unstoppable until today. And our o-line is trash….no doubting that

    • I'll be patiently waiting to see what OL additions we snatch off the waiver wire.
    • Look don't get me wrong here. I'm not arguing it's going to just change his arm talent overnight. I'm just saying doing anything on the physical front after the GM who stuck his neck out for him over the concerns around his physical traits got fired is better than doing nothing. That's another layer. It could easily be argued overall he needed to add at least 10 pounds not just for the sake of working in the pocket and not going down so easily but let's be honest eventually no matter how much we invest in the OL he's going to get hit some and those hits will add up. His frame as it stands is only going to absorb so much over a 17 game season. Oh definitely good or bad we will have to run a lot of under center stuff. Bryce will either look good or flounder. But our offense will remain stagnant if we just keep running shotgun plays 90% of the time. You're telegraphing your offense otherwise. That's why I'm not giving Chuba Hubbard too hard of a time over his YPC last year. We weren't fooling anyone. We'll see what Canales has cooked up. It better be pretty damn clever.
    • Why would a team ever not be aggressive in improving the roster? It may look different from year to year but even the best rosters churn at the bottom. That's a no-brainer.
