I don’t want to hear a single coach or player mention the “Playoffs” again until they are actually in the playoffs.

This week we heard GM Scott Fitterer talk about how this team “expects” to make the playoffs. I was really put off by this remark because there is no reason to expect this team to make it to the playoffs.

Quite frankly I think this team needs to shut up with the Playoffs talk and focus on winning. The team posts these press conferences lauding the new players they’ve traded for and player interviews exuding confidence, some of them mentioning this team expects to make the playoffs as well. There’s no reason to assume this team will make the playoffs.

Don’t mention making the playoffs again until your next game is a playoff game. Just shut up win the next game.

I said it before...it was stupid to get caught up in all this new GM heroics craziness this early. This team aint there yet..and walking off the field with Losses trumps any heroics done in the front office. Especially games you had no business losing.

Buffalo and Washington have a better chance at winning a championship than Carolina. At least Carolina has a better shot than NY Giants.

Learn the lesson on what a quality front office and head coach look like, and you will be in a position to at least compete for a championship 2 or 3 times in a decade. Then get the top 9 players right and you can experience a dynasty.

I have no confidence in Rhule's coaching or Fitterer's front office to build a champion. Just wasting CMCs talent.

I don’t mind a gm planning on the playoffs because he is supposed to think strategically and be ready for those things.  Overall, I think Fitterer is planning for it but not betting the farm on it given the affordable acquisitions he has made.    That said, I think saying it out loud in public makes it seem presumptuous.  Extremely presumptuous given such a young team with this many holes.

Players and coaches need to be concentrating on Sunday.  Nothing else.
