Jefferson's press conference the other day, he said he will definitely be playing sunday (of course so did CMC last week.)  At any rate, nobody from the Vikings fanbase seems to think they won't be playing sunday, even though they haven't practiced all week.

2nd consecutive day the WR duo have not practiced.. Smokescreens or will we be facing 3rd and 4th string receivers?

Vikings are probably going to lean heavy on the run game with Dalvin Cook back in the lineup. Slows down our pass rush and limits opportunities to sack Cousins. Based on the Dallas game, they may decide to test our inconsistent run defense more than our loaded secondary.

Jefferson will play. Even if he's limited we will have our hands full with him. I hope Chuba is ready to have a big day bc that's the only way we'll win with this offense if Sam is still doing his best Kyle Allen impression.

We are probably going to need defensive scores or at minimum 2-3 short fields to win games. Our offensive line is that bad. Can’t see how we sustain a drive.

However, the defense was serviceable 2023 - 2024 with pressure and tackling being the biggest issues (despite not having Jaycee for most of it). I understand that folks are low on Evero because they desperately want a sacrifice for last season's results, but a step back from the ledge shows that it wasn't all terrible in his first season as DC for the team.
    • Alternate between Renfro and Blackshear for now. Simply not muffing the punt is the current goal. As far as Horn goes I'd prefer to not tempt fate with that one given our investment.
