This offense is a bunch of very solid guys with no real elite playmakers without CMac.

Like this is a great game overall by Brady and no one's made any real mistakes (besides some drops)

We just don't have any real play makers.

That 1st play would like a word with you on the mistakes part......

But yeah that game was pretty good on terms of what they needed to do go win. Keep the D off the field and methodically move the ball. Something we have called for FOREVER!

The line has been terrible trying to keep the QB upright, but ok as run blocking. Add it Ricci balling as a old school FB, and the three headed RB group looked pretty good.  Abdullah is a little more CMC as a receiver but we have 2 ok rushers anyways.

But wait... I'm sure @LinvilleGorgewill be by soon, to eat his crow.

(If I can do it, you can, Mr. Mod from the Dark Side)

Darnold wasn't very good. He just wasn't disastrously terrible and that allowed the D to secure the W. This is the way we have to play this year. We have to actively deemphasized the passing game.

You're playing yourself wanting to spike the football over this.

It's okay.  Exhalation accomplished.

If "playing myself" is being a supporter of the team, rather than an outright hater, then so be it.  I haven't lived this long being negative.

I don't mind getting crap. Cuz it matters not. I just enjoy football, and usually talking about it.

There's still a bunch of us who are not ready to jump off that cliff. Thankfully, there are still folks to chat with.

Any time Sam does not throw an INT in a game, I'd call him "very good" for him.

That's where I've arrived at with him at this point.

Sure he didn't toss a TD (even though he should've been credited with one with DJ) but no INTs is always a good thing.

Oh and no Turnovers aka Fumbles either so that's good as well.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
