If this FO was serious about winning they would bring back Cam

If Tepper gives a damn about his product, sign Cam 30 mil for the remainder of the year and a press conference with Tepper formally manning up and apologize to the face of this franchise. Cam retires and merch sales boom through the atmosphere

Hell real talk, Cam might be the only way to fill the seats with Carolina fans this year. Right now, people wont come see the product on the field.

Yeah I’m not against Cam I’m laughing at the genius talking about paying him 30 million we don’t have this season for 8 games while having a billionaire apologize on National TV only to win 2 more games and ruin our draft position.

I think he's signing here tomorrow .. man, the Cam's done people just don't get it, he's 32, he ain't done

Truthfully, Cam, as is would energize this franchise.

As I've said, if he hits the supercam in BofA EVER again as a Panther, the comeback story would be HUGE, for better or worse.

Rhule would leave the building before that. I just have a feeling bringing Cam back would involve a new coach.

How about Chud? That would at least be entertaining especially Chud w/TEs +DJ, CMC, Marshall.

Why not dig in the crates?

The 2010s Panthers aren’t coming back. Cams not coming back, Stewart’s not coming back, Olsens not coming back, Luke’s not coming back, Rivera isn’t coming back, get over it. When JR left, all that went with it.

This is what you get now for wanting a Panther logo at midfield and getting rid of the owner that brought us 2 NFC championships,  6 division titles, and 8 playoff births for a guy who can’t go .500 in 4 years.

If the FO cared about winning they wouldn’t have cut him without the future qb on the roster in the first place, or some plan better than throwing money and picks at acquiring Teddy or Sam.

logically, should we sign cam, no brainer at this point unless you’re content with sucking and giving the jets a high second rounder.

realistically, not going to happen, fo is to high strung and owner isn’t going to admit he was wrong, plus why would cam come back here?

the lions are winless, dolphins are 2-7, Texans 1-8, WFT is 2-6 and there’s more teams on that list for the “cam is done” crowd, if you believe he wouldn’t help either of those teams to better records than they field now idk what to tell you. Good players go unsigned a lot in the nfl for numerous reason, hell our own Abdullah is looking pretty damn good for a guy signed off the streets.

Cam is done. Sam has never been ‘not done.’ There isn’t / wasn’t a good answer between the two. Bridgewater should have been kept around (vs. those 2), but ultimately the band-aid needs to be ripped off.

    • I am really sorry  that  happened to you they say to never meet your sports heroes i have friends who met  mickey mantle when they were young and he was a belligerent alcoholic at the time  ut broke their hearts  I had the opportunity to meet and spend  time with Cam Newton.     He was the polar opposite of Steve Smith and his public image.   Polite.  Honest when asked question.  You could tell the things that mattered to him and the things that  didnt. The disappointments in himself and the things that hurt him  those qualities make him quite a good interviewer too  i genuinely liked him   Im sure as young, rich, sports hero, he has not been a choir boy but there is goodness in him  the time i met him i took one of my friends with me from the west coast. She said she didn't like him and wasn’t enthusiastic about meeting him.  She left loving him   No one can say anything bad about ‘her Cam’ anymore
    • Agree about oline. They've tried their best to improve that area. But honestly, has it looked like the most expensive oline in the NFL to you? Not just with Bryce. With Dalton's one game where they almost got the old man killed.  Also YAC shouldn't always be hitting a guy in stride while he's running full speed. Pickens killed us after the catch and those weren't all hit-in-stride plays. I remember a play in Miami when a guy caught a 5 yards curl and took it like 30-40 yards to the house. We don't have that in Carolina. Horn might be the closest thing to that but he can't get significant PT for whatever reason. If Bryce keeps trusting his receivers to make plays, I think he'll become more consistent. Seemed like he only trusted TMac. And force feeding one receiver isn't sustainable. Defenses will start to blanket him and take him out of the game. And yeah, keep taking deep shots. I hate all that dink and dunk football. Hate it.
    • Dan Marino sucked too I guess. Washed up Elway carried by Terrell Davis was actually better than prine Elway. Lol
