Absolutely. The last time we ran the ball more than 30 times was against Atlanta, and we won. Joe Brady couldn't get away from passing the ball. All he had to do was run it. And against Atlanta, nobody complained about the O-line play. People actually praised how well they played. Every O-linemen has more fun running the ball. That's why Brady was shown the door.

It's almost like some of you can't remember why he is a terrible HC and HC candidate. There is actually proof why that would have been a horrible idea.

Yeah he developed a gameplan that was good enough to win.  He did his job.  Doesn't mean I'm in awe of his Madden-style spamming of run plays over and over in 50 mph winds when he has a dominant defense, special teams, and o-line to rely on.  That's basically Rivera's dream gameplan there; the only difference is Rivera didn't have the personnel to pull it off.

I think McDaniels is a good offensive coordinator, I just don't think last night's game elevates him to godlike status which I'm apparently in the minority about.

That was terrible offensive football.  It was admitting that Jones didn't have the arm to throw in that wind.  That's all it was.  The game was tight.  There is no excuse.  It's not like the Pats put the game out of reach running.  They were a couple dropped passes away from losing the game.

That's an offense Ron Rivera would be proud of.  BS.  It was a terrible display by a team that effectively admitted the limitations of their rookie QB.  This was a game the Patriots simply didn't lose.  Which is very different than saying they won it.

Barely 200 yards of total offense?  Come on.

      I am not wanting to be too judgemental of Morgan over his first draft given the circumstances.  People don’t like my rationale but you know, I don’t so much like theirs either.  I was adamantly against drafting Bryce and very resentful over the extreme (imo) measures taken to prop him up. I feel like Dan got caught in that trap with demands or conditions placed on him to help out the QB and the new Offensive minded head coach.  And my biased opinion is that it was still all Bryce centric. Micro managed and solely focused on making him a viable player after his first disastrous season. Mandated to help the offense in that draft.  I feel like my speculation is reasonable given the climate and situation, and it includes the reasons we didn’t take a C, the reasons we overdrafted a RB and that particular WR. It was totally need based. Perceived needs. All to maximize Bryce.    And if it were me, and I wanted the GM slot of my team that I came up with, I would be willing to accede to the agenda that I feel was in place. The goals he had to meet.  It is pretty simple, just put Bryce’s needs at the center of everything that was done and work your way through it.  I have no idea or inside info, and people have mocked my opinion for it but that is what it is, it still makes sense to me.
