At the very least Rhule should lose personel decisions.

I dont know who the final word on personnel is, although we've heard it is Rhule and certain moves like Sam and Henderson are directly tied to him having a previous experience with them - that being said, some moves were made simply because of the FO and the relationships they had (trades with BUF AND NE, as well as all draft trades) with other teams and have nothing to do with Rhule aside from just signing off on it.

That being said, imo, it doesn't matter who is making the personnel decisions because the personnel is not the problem.  The OL blows and MLB leaves a bit to be desired, but outside of those positions, this teams STACKED with talent.  There are a lot of other teams that are winning with a lot less.

Rhule shouldn't lose his job because of talent.  The talent is there.  He should lose his job because he doesn't know how to use it.  If he is the overlord on all personnel moves, it really doest matter if he loses that authority because our problem is strictly how it is used on the field.

I can understand the idea but I don't think it helps. He'd still be in charge of depth chart and on-field decisions as well as setting the system.

And let's be real: If you have to take these sorts of measures, why are you even keeping him?

Why is everyone acting like the defense is not the problem..we got big ticket cj Henderson and stephon Gilmore and yet we're still giving up 28 points to ATL without calvin Ridley. Phil snow should have been let go with joe brady, this defense can't get a stop for their life.

Defense isn’t responsible for the pick 6, holding any NFL offense to 21 points is passable

Didn't watch the game eh?  Yea, I get ya.

Just to bring you up to speed, the defense only gave up 22 points.  Falcons defense scored 7 against our offense.  A second Falcons TD happened because we handed them a short field on a fumble.  A third score, a FG this time, happened on an 18 yard Falcons drive.  You guessed it, gave up the ball on our side of the 50 again.

On scoring drives, the Falcons starting field position was:  ATL 25, ATL 49, ATL 25, CAR 49, CAR 48.  On non-scoring drives, Falcons starting FP was:  ATL 25, ATL 11, ATL 46 (half), ATL 44, ATL 40 (game).  You cannot win with the FP so firmly in the opponents favor.

You put your defense in crap situations and you lose.  That's it.

    • Yeah. As a wild card team. Washington won the division at 10-6.
    • no doubt but flip that.   The current system insures that there are "regional" games in the early weeks. maximizing the reach of playoff football.  If all of the WC weekend for a conference took place on the west coast they are reducing the "reach" of their hype machine.
    • Hard to say with London--he never ran--combine or pro day.  Here is what AI says, and it is always 100% accurate: Drake London's 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine was not recorded because he was dealing with a fractured ankle at the time. While he didn't participate in the 40 at the Combine or his pro day, his coach said his 40 time was estimated to be between 4.4 and 4.53 seconds. Some sources also list his 40 time at 4.58 and 4.6 seconds Unless you are running 9s all day, top end 40 speed is rarely reached.  I have always looked at the 3-cone drill.  At his pro day, TMac ran a 6.86--pretty good, actually.  For context, it is faster that Rome Odunze (6.88) who ran a 4.45 40.  Odunze is 6'3" and weighs 216, fwiw, and is considered a very good route runner with no wasted motion.  Mike Evans 3-cone was 7.08.  To put it in a broader context, through 2022, with all NFL prospect 3-cone drills combined, a 6.86 puts TMac in the.89th percentile-  Now consider the fact that he is 6'4" and 220.   We might have something here.  '
