Really great win, I have no doubt RBA ripped into the team during the first intermission and then told the boys this game was theirs to win during the second.

Play was abysmal in the first and woke up in the 2nd from it's slumber.  The 3rd period was just straight fire!!

Damn I love this team.

Plus the Blue Jackets “switching” goalies. We eat Merzlikins for lunch lately.

7 unanswered goals is no easy feat. That third period was straight electrifying.

This team is so well coached that its insane. Lorentz had a day. Seth Jarvis showed again how much value he can bring. Ethan Bear's goal was nice. Just a ton of great young talent. We are spoiled.

Also the balls we have to constantly challenge the puck 2-on-1, whether on the pk or not, that level of aggression in our own end, and then to play a high forward in their end is just not easy to do for a full season. Constant pressure. Few teams seem to be able to stand to it for a full game and it shows.

      FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.

      That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

      Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
