Oh sweet so we’re bringing in an OC to interview who can’t adjust mid game. Like the thing we were historically bad at this past season.

rhule will probably pick someone he thinks he can just get along with and won’t threaten his power. So this guy would be perfect.

Yeah and that's with Cousins/Thielen/Jefferson/Dalvin Cook, and a slightly better O-line. This also doesn't help with the possible interim head coach thing either because he's a 34 year old first time OC who has an nfl job because of his Dad.

Truth.

but maybe it isn’t even about that.  Can Rhule even find 3 guys with a real NFL resume for the job to say yes?  Maybe Tepper is just going to let the rest of the league tell him what Rhule is.

If I was a good OC….I’m not taking the job unless it’s the last job.  Because it’s a bad job under Rhule.

Yeah you're either get inexperienced like Kubiak, or washed up like O'brien. This does sound like some business power move Tepper would come up with though

I’d prefer Kubiak’s professional “brother” in Rick Dennison who’s trying to teach up mini-Gary.

And prefer as in prefer rather than Kubiak. Don’t want to touch someone from the Vikes offensive staff.

Right....I mean don't YOU wait until you fail before leaning on people who know something about the thing you failed at? I mean poo I thought that's how everyone operated.

Well...to be fair...he did lean on Hurney to teach him the ropes.  Now who could have predicted how that would turn out?

    • We just need another 50 or so players like that and we’ll have something.
    • Ive had this bad feeling it would eventually be the Watson
    • He's right. Tepper ain't the one out there dropping balls, or missing blocks, or putting up having comically bad drafts. He's the one responsible for hiring the people that have kept our scouting department that has been one of the worst at evaluating college talent in the NFL.  He forced the transition to the 3-4 even though we've never fully committed to it and never been able to draft or sign the players to do it.  He's the one that signed used car salesman Fat Fhule that hadn't even won a game against a ranked opponent.  Then he signed a GM that was one of if not the worst GM in the history of the NFL, only to replace him with his assistant.  Frank Reich hired and fired in 9 games. Multiple potential hires for HC turning down interviews.  Changing QBs like underwear. Personal quest to trade for a sexual predator QB and would have if the contract didnt have to be 100% guaranteed.  Terrible contracts Rock Hill debacle  2023 trade up to 1 and him and his wife drafting BY  Worst defense in NFL history. Worst record in major league sports over the time frame of his ownership and the fans need to be patient and understanding of an 8 year and counting rebuild? There being any fans left is a goddamn miracle.
