PJ Walker will certainly lead us to the promise land of the #1 pick

I don’t understand people’s hate for PJ. Sure, he hasn’t played well when he’s put in the 4th when we’re down 21 but he’s won the 2 games he’s started. He honestly throws a great ball.

Idk if anyone actually read what he actually said. He didn't like Sam at pick 3. Because of his mechanics, but that he'd be a good QB. He also said Rosen was the most pro ready in the draft.

He actually said, "I'd just have a hard time drafting a guy in the first round where you don't necessarily like the way he throws."

As for Rosen, he probably was the most pro-ready at the time, but that doesn't speak to the highest ceiling which McAdoo seems to prefer.

At this point, everyone is just trying to see the silver lining in this hire. Hindsight is 20/20 and just because he wanted Mahomes and didn't like Darnold means nothing. A lot of coaches in the league can make the same claim. The only thing I took away from this is that he wasn't the strongest supporter of Darnold so I don't know how he is going to work with him. It only adds more fire to the thought that Darnold will not be our QB next season.

The Panthers problem isn't quarterback. Darnold could be a Pro Bowl player with an adequate offensive line. Sam Darnold, Brady, Rodgers, doesn't matter.

...HAARRRRRRR!  the Pack i believe had 3 rookie linemen... darnold is damaged goods... sucked, sucks, will suck...

The problem is that he's frenetic if not just plain erratic. He throws way too many interceptions.

To be fair, even accepting the premise this would testify to his being a good scout, not necessarily a good coach.

To be fair, he has a decent track record of being a coach overall, just not a head coach. But even then he took the Giants to the wildcard before tanking the next season.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
