They have a ton of free agents.   Their roster is hanging on by a thread.   Same for the saints.

And yet we are heading into year 3 of a rebuild whereby we should be competing for the divisional crown, but here we are still floundering in the NFCS cellar.

I am going to beat the poo out of a dead horse here.  But we should have seen this coming, we should have taken this franchise down to the studs 3 years ago and we would be sitting as pretty as we have ever been if we had done this correctly.  Instead we have been throwing poo on the wall and praying something works.  Beyond frustrating when morons like myself could see the proper route to take.

Just now, Ja Rhule said:

Tampa went all in with Brady.  Their cap and FAs won’t be pretty.

We can no longer talk sht to BUCS fans. Can't. They continued to build any way they could. Tepper comes in with his wrecking ball and amateur coaching staff to replace OUR NFL coaching staff.

Know it all's can really f' some sht up in short order. In hindsight, shoulda stayed with Cam while building the O line and used that time that he was rehabbing to draft Lance who would have been ready to take over this year or next, OR Rhule could have let Hurndog make a deal to move up (not far) to snatch Justin Herbert but NO. Mistake #1 on Fhule, destroying continuity at QB before addressing the real deficiencies that plagued this team since the ouster of Jordan Gross.

Water under the bridge but right now I'd rather have had Tampa's leadership over Teppers last four years of flailing. Cap and all they got the trophies.

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
