Watson's agent is getting desperate and I suspect the trail for all the un-sourced rumors leads back to him -- he's trying to stir up anything he can in an attempt to get the Texans to move off the schneid & clearly nothing is working.

I mean who really wants the guy?

Many teams are set at QB, they don't want him.

Many teams aren't foolish enough to over-pay, they don't want him.

His proclivity to whip-it-out is a DQ w/ many teams, don't want him.

Who is left?

The Texans, that's who.

Three 1sts, next year's 2nd, two 3rds, Jeremy Chinn/Jaycee Horn, and Derrick Brown/Brian Burns. I could definitely see that package happening. 

That still might not be enough. I have said Tepper is all in on this, I'm not exaggerating.

Houston doesn’t have to draft Hamilton or a CB with their 3rd or 6th overall picks and can use them on OL or edge rusher 

Houston can come out of this looking pretty good. 

The 3 1sts hurts, but I’m ok with this. Chinn looked pedestrian last year, plus he wants to play that safety spot, so I don’t really mind him going. Would rather lose Henderson than Taylor. As long as it’s only 1 2nd, then I pull the trigger

This is just getting absurd now.  Watson will not be a Panther.  How you even get the league to approve such a ridiculous deal is crazy.  We aren’t doing anything even near that

Sounds like he's ready to gut the team for a few years to make it happen.  Blow it all up to get his way.

Its insane because someone is trying to think this into reality.  Watson won’t be a Panther ever.  It is never going to happen

      Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.

      We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).

      I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
