And you're wanting to repeat that experiment by trading the farm for Watson. The Broncos set a high market for QBs with the Wilson trade. The Texans will demand more for Watson, if he's eligible to play, since he's in his prime and several years younger than Wilson.

did I say anything about trading the farm for Watson?

You could call Rivera a decent NFL coach. You could even call him a bad NFL coach. Either way he's still an NFL coach.

Matt Rhule is a college coach who's employed in the NFL...temporarily.

If he doesn't get to that point, then your argument is lost.

Is it though? Just because Owners don't know what they're doing, doesn't mean the argument is lost. NFL teams pick shitty players all the time in Drafts, does that make them more knowledgeable than us? Think not.

Yeah, they both suck. But even just comparing their first two years, Ron has been the better coach. He actually won another game his sophomore year while Rhule got worse and lost an extra game.

Ron has had the same issues as Rhule. Ron just had more transcendent talent. If Rhule had a prime Cam, a prime Luke, and a solid defense I think Rhule could luck up into some good seasons too. Sitting by staring at the field like he's thinking about life like Rivera used to do.

Will you be getting a job in the NFL anytime soon?

Doubt it, land neither will Matt Rhule be getting another one if he loses this one.

Not the point.

NFL teams will hire retreads all the time, no matter how terrible they are. Rivera's a perfect example of that. Didn't Adam Gase get hired by another team after being trash? Yeah. So...........

Retread hires tend to overwhelmingly be NFL guys, not college coaches.

More often than not, college coaches who fail in the NFL and go back to college don't get a second chance to ascend.

Thanks. I had no clue (sarcasm).

Doesn't mean they're decent, good, or even mediocre coaches though. Again. Rivera is about on the same level as Rhule in my opinion. Rivera has a longer track record than Rhule at sucking. Both terrible at coaching. Which is the main point.

If Adam Gase can get rehired, so can Rivera. CLEARLY. Doesn't mean he's even mediocre at coaching.
