SMH, or maybe....now hear me out....maybe there just was not enough evidence to charge him with any crimes?

You don't know what you're talking about. Go look it up. Grand juries indict 99% of the time. Have people accusing you of having committed a crime against them is more than enough to secure an indictment. The prosecutor punted.

I mean we won't have the chance because ownership and coaching staff ran the team so far into the ground that a no-trade clause means no player comes here on their own free will

If we're the only ones overpaying, and Watson wants out of Houston bad enough. Then yes, he will waive that clause. Regardless.

So, he may be a sex pervert, but nobody can say hes a criminal or a rapist or any of that poo now.

Not sure if this is true.

Ben is called a rapist left and right after 1. No criminal charges and 2. The only female that confirmed sex with him bragged about it to coworkers the day after and before filing a civil suit,

But it is a different ‘climate’ today and Ben is not Watson. I suspect people will be condemned for calling Watson things they called Ben if we are being real.

LOL Ok dude.  Whatever you say.  To be completely honest I don't really care.  Our justice system did what its designed to do.  You can run with your weird conspiracy theory if you want to.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
