Can you Imagine:

O Line: Big free agent LT, Christensen, Elf, Austin Corbett, Moton.

QB: Deshaun Watson

WR: DJ Moore, Anderson, Marshall JR

Running back: CMC, Hubbard

TE: Tremble, Ian Thomas

👀👀👀

If Rhule were to fug that up, we'd at least know we'd be one of the most attractive landing places in the entire league

If we are talking about OT free agents in this draft, it could mean one of two things:

1. We are trading our #6 overall pick for Watson.

2. We are using our #6 overall pick on a QB, probably Willis.

It makes more sense to sign a free agent LT if you signed Watson than it does to pass on a solid LT for a mediocre QB likely to bust.

If we sign Armstead, the Aints would be wise to sign Greg Hardy now that he's out of the UFC. Dude literally racked up like 5 sacks in 2013 against Armstead...

Did hardy get cut? Goes to show it takes more than athleticism to be a pro fighter

Just trying to figure out how we shell out the money for a top Guard, big money on LT, and huge on QB...  If we can ditch Darnold's cap hit then it makes sense.  Man that was a dumb move extending him...

I read somewhere if he’s traded we carry 0 dead money and none of his salary.

Really big assumption Houston is taking back Darnold.  More like wishful thinking

I think its a fair assumption based on everything we have seen from reports around the trade scenario. Also, with Verge's tweet just now, something big is imminent for us.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
