Lamar can’t stay healthy. Murray will never win a super bowl   Running QBs

Aside from last year’s week 14 injury, Lamar hadn’t missed a game from an injury was 4 years prior. Burrow has missed a much larger % of starts than Lamar.

Using our top pick this year on a QB would be peak Rhule/Tepper.  Just about the dumbest thing we could do.

Wym??? If you think he can be a franchise QB you get him! We were about to give up the farm and tractor for DW drafting one at 6 isn’t an out of line idea. If you think Willis sucks and not worth it I guess I see your point but I *want* to draft a qb with our first pick. Whether that’s at 6 or in a trade back.

But it isn't irrelevant. Russell Wilson is an exception. There are so many more examples to support the smaller framed QB will fail. Nice try though...

Sure 10 years ago…

Now we have Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, and Jalen Hurts… not to mention Drew Brees.

QB’s don’t fail because of frame anymore bud… this way of thinking is how teams get stuck in the past.

You have been able to name 4 quarterbacks in the past 20 years with any success. That speaks volumes. Frame isn't the only factor, but to suggest that it isn't one is just untrue.

Murray has now had two significant injuries the past 2seasons and is pretty bad when he doesn’t move out of the pocket.

The past few years… which is what’s important. If you are living 20 years in the past then you aren’t moving forward. The game has changed.

    • He was so much fun to watch as a player but is a prototypical example of the old "never meet your heroes" adage. Great player, not a great guy.
    • Look.... if us BY "haters" give credit about his GWDs...... Will the BY stans also have honest discussion about the 55minutes before the last 5 in which BY has put up 9/20 for 78 yards 0 TDs???
    • The way they are handling now is how they should have handled it from the start instead of that you get a series, you a get a series. Let Chuba spell until he had some of his step back.  We definitely could have put a better showing against Buffalo and their weak run defense had we employed the same game plan we did against Green Bay. Saints were determined to stop the run and make Bryce beat them, Atlanta had similar plan and the coaches and Bryce were able to respond.  Rico although didnt have the best rushing game was vital in the passing game and his catch and run help get us into the redzone there at the end of regulation probably should have been a touchdown that out of bounds was a judgement call it wasn't conclusive and thus should have went with the original call on the field.  Roco brings that dawg to the offense that it shorely lacked up until Miami game. Interesting it was his call that help seal the win for us, glad the coaches were listening. Hope they can get a deal done and run it back next year.
