Going to wait until someone who is a little more plugged in reports on this… after the Watson debacle, Sheena needs to focus on facts instead of rumors for a bit.

From my understanding she’s pretty well connected with cam. If there’s anyone she has a scoop on, it’s cam.

He was quite clear about not wanting to be a backup on a shitty team.

I suppose you could try to sell him on this year's team being better with all the free agent signings, but he still might have more desirable options.

I mean....I am not sold, so I don't know why he would be. But, it would be great for the team to have him back.

Out of all the offered I’ve heard, Cle (prob not gna happen now), Indy (maybe), Seattle and Carolina; Carolina may be his best option.

I wouldn't rank is above Seattle or Indy.

Is it really gonna be a farewell tour though, or are we gonna see one or two good performances followed by three or four that leave everybody saying "yeah, he's done"?

I mean, they probably envisioned last year as a redemption story of some sort but it didn't really work out that way.

    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
    • Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
