Hardman is stepping up and they just snagged JuJu, and he's in the last year of his deal and likely wants a new deal...the Jets may be willing to do that to help with Wilson.

Always makes me wonder what is happening behind the scenes. Is there some team friction? Is there an injury? Is there a personal issue that makes them want to give him a change of location? Are there grumblings about a new contract?

Likely...last year of his deal...can't have that nonsense on a super bowl caliber team.  If he's making noise, you move him now while value is high, and you only control him 1 more year.

Which begs the question of WHY. Mahomes and Hill have been one of the more electrifying QB/WR duos in recent memory. My bet is that going into the final year of his contract they've been talking an extension and he's shooting for top paid WR in the league and KC is balking and figuring it might be better long-term to get trade haul for him and let someone else give him that contract rather than rent him for another year and risk disgruntlement and possibly a holdout.
