What do you think a feel free female swimmer at FL State should get paid?

What do you think a full ride male soccer player at Wake Forest should get paid?

Or the track kid a South Carolina?  What calculation should determine the paid salary you think they are owed?

Please feel free to use your words.

Wow.  How did I never see it before?  You've opened my eyes.  You're right.  Its just too complicated.  The schools and coaches should keep it all...literally BILLIONS.  Keep em on the plantation.

Aahh.  The twisted logic and/or willful blindness of the pro-slavers.

so.....again, how do think the salary for a full ride female swimmer at FL State should be determined/calculated.

I see the emoji.  I see the insult.  I don't see you actually saying anything though.

The NCAA sucking isn’t a defense for nonsensical suggestions and accusations.

Are you pretending that you are saying something?

Why do you protect the NCAA, schools and coaches as they rake in millions and billions?

Why do you want to deny the athletes fair compensation for the value they bring?

There is a lot of thought and negotiating that would be required to set the pay on a per athlete basis.

I can't tell you what an insurance adjuster in Sheboygin, WI should make a year, but that doesn't mean it should be nothing or free insurance.

Poor David Tepper and his Billions doesn't want to pay millions for his practice facility.

He can fug off if he won't pay.

Seriously, no fanbase should pay a dime for the stadiums of teams when Billionaires can afford it.

This thread is a good window in the current thoughts and actions of people. It's maybe the biggest problem the USA is facing- defending wrong. Dislike someone, some group, some opinion, some numbers, now you have to dig in deep and hate everyone else about that person/group/topic etc. Just sad. What happened.....

South Carolina residents, politicians and the state as a whole are an embarrassment.

SC has failed to deliver on its bonds obligation, what did you expect Tepper to do?

When Hershel, Randall, Aunt Bonnie and BillyBob all see their land value increase that houses their double wides, it’s because Mr Tepper put a world class complex in that pathetic state. Where does all the increased property taxes, hotel taxes, payroll taxes, new shopping center permits all go to? Back to the local and state government.

When your home goes up 20% in value because being near there is now a desirable location, where does that money go to? Directly in your pocket when you sell

but yes… poo Tepper cause he is rich and a convenient punching bag

You can't fix stupid.

Evidently we should have kept blue jeans Friday, Richardson.

Nah, give me grab ass on the stage Tepper. At least his sins are out in the open, maybe. I don't mind the wife butt clinch myself.

At least Tepper is trying to improve the team. He's just struggling to get it done, much like his Appaloosa World in Rock Hill.

My thing with Tepper is he hasn't shown that same fervor in finding a person to direct him, or teach him if you will, as to how to build a successful football team. It's difficult as a fan to sit through his learning on the fly.

Rant over.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
