No chance.

Look no further than his beat friend forever Eric Reid who took every chance possible to interject "politics" into/onto the dialogue/locker-room/field during his time with the Panthers...

Eric Reid was released over two years ago. If he hurt your feelings get over it and take this nonsense elsewhere.

After Harbaugh left he fell apart. He wasn’t that good to begin with. He, infamously, couldn’t read defenses well and was a single read QB.
Kap had the perfect situation with the coach and team, kinda like Jimmy G., to make the most of what he was and to hide his weaknesses.
If he wants to be back in the NFL he may have to settle for a backup role.

Hey, if he doesn't take what he can get, that's on him. My point has always been is that there were worse QBs in the league than him. Because of how things went down, we'll never know what could've been.

The timing of his "release" in no way changes the facts or pattern of behaviour...

...facts seem to be a consistent irritant for you 🤦‍♂️🤣

The argument that "he hasn't played since 2016" is a nonstarter. We all know why he didn't play, and most of us should also know that he was worthy of playing in the NFL in some capacity.

As for believing it's all a dog and pony show, that's interesting...but I don't feel that he'd go through the trouble if he in fact didn't want to play anymore. He's already proved his point regarding the inequities and racism in the NFL in my mind (if that's what you're getting at). I think that he just wants another shot to continue his dream.

I don't see how not playing for 6 years is not a serious downside. Unless he has been training and preparing like he was going to play that is going to matter.

I don't see it as going through any trouble. He gets an all-expenses paid trip to basically work out for a team. That's the extent of it.

I literally don't care even remotely about his views or protests. He is free to do whatever he wants, on the field and off the field.

I care about his ability to play football and win games for us. So, even without the long layoff, he wasn't particularly good at that either.

If he wants to sign a 1 year, veteran minimum deal, fine by me. He can't be that much worse than PJ Walker so you should at least improve your #2 QB. Outside of that scenario, why would you spend money on a mediocre QB that hasn't play ANY football in 6 years? That's about as dumb as trading picks for Sam Darnold.

But you didn’t answer my question. So, it’s Robby Anderson driving fans away, and not our sorry coach and the worst starting QB of the league?

Why did you not like Robby before?

Robby isn't the cause but he quite literally said they didn't need fans that boo. I mean, I am not out there booing(yet) but don't fuging tell the fans how to fan any more than the fans should tell the players how to play. fuging stay in your lane, Sideshow Rob.

He pissed me off with that quip. I was one of the very few guys that defended him during last season while he was struggling but when you are stinking it up on the field, don't you fuging dare talk down to fans.

Cam, Luke, TD, Sam Mills, Steve Smith, etc....those guys earned the right to be critical of the fans not Robby Anderson's dumb ass.

He displayed amazing tone-deafness with that comment. If he was out there putting up All-Pro type stats and busting his ass, okay. That's one thing. But when you're a WR with a top 10 WR cap hit playing like you're allergic to footballs... well, you should probably STFU.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion...

...including Matt Rhule (and you).

It's no coincidence #25 got blown out once the new Head Ball Coach arrived in town -- #NoDistractions.

(which puts Wobby at serious risk)

They're providing all the distractions in the world themselves with their comical QB musical chairs and overall general sucking. Eric Reid was just an old school 1980s style safety in an era of football where that type of safety just doesn't have much value. Not much value in hard hitting head hunting safeties who are liabilities in coverage when that hard hitting head hunting playing style is practically banned.

Nothing about Matt Rhule strikes me as a guy who cares about a player's politics or views.

Eric Reid is not on the team because he was bad at football. Couldn't cover poo and wasn't the solid tackler he once was.

As I said, I don't care about a players politics or views. I care they are good at their job.

Never said it was about "politics or views"...

...but rather, distraction/s.

Signed a new deal and then had his best season ever by about 2X, then got cut when the new Head Ball Coach showed up 🤔
