I don’t know if we will ever hear the full story but if the rumors are true about Tepper wanting to abandon our team slogan and get rid of something entirely organic and beloved by panther nation then he is not as smart as he thinks he is

I think there's plenty of evidence pointing toward that particular conclusion regardless.

This particular thing makes me think they might have heard the fan backlash.

You don't take the heart and soul of a fan base and discard it like it's trash. You can build a new brand. You can try and draw in a younger generation. But never forget where you came from.
