Josina out here stirring up some rumors on her IG page

josinaanderson 1–on-1 with #Browns WR Amari Cooper just after he came off the field from the first day of mandatory camp today. Cooper has the challenge of adapting to Deshaun Watson and Jacoby Brissett at the same time and being ready for whatever this season brings. The 4x Pro-Bowler is also embracing his statesman role among the younger receivers here. Interesting to see if Cleveland adds another WR to the group—say like Robbie Anderson in a potential trade. Just a thought. Not a report.

I don't want Mayfield, but that is because I don't think he is the answer to anything other than getting to mediocrity. The possible exception is if they believe Corral will not be ready this season, but is "the guy."  It is kinda tough to conclude both of those conditions at the same time, especially in the next couple of weeks.  Even if it is true, the best option may still be to let Sam stink up the joint, pick up a first-round QB in 2023 and then sign a vet to round out the QB room.

That said, if they want to take the Sam mistake off our hands in exchange for us sweeping up the ashes they created with Mayfield, I'd be okay provided any additional compensation is about round 5.  Much more than that we are basically just rinsing and repeat the same desperation that got us Sam.

The Browns screwed themselves with Mayfield.  They created a situation that ensured he was not going to play there again and did so for a guy who may not play there at all even though they traded away a ton of draft picks to make the deal.  I would not be inclined to throw them a life preserver. 

I'm sure they are sitting in Cleveland thinking "these are the same morons that traded a ton for Darnold and then backed the Brinks truck up to his door."

So Baker for Robbie, straight up?  Which includes them eating most of Bakers salary?  That still leaves us with our little Sam problem....however with the savings for trading Anderson we could probably just say fug It and outright cut Sam.

We don't have any mediocre QBs currently.  Mediocre would be a massive upgrade to what we currently have.

      Yup or Edge.  Edge guys take time to develop and we have a bunch of short term rentals there.  Needed a youngster to groom for 2025.  I don't dislike Brooks, just where we drafted him.
