They’ll probably just try to turn the narrative to her breaking the NDA and say she’s untrustworthy because she broke a legally binding agreement, ignoring the fact of the sexual assault.

Not so sure about that.

If the NFL wants Snyder gone (and there's plenty of evidence to suggest they do) then he's gonna have a rough time making this go away.

So what are the expectations on "NDA's"...

...should ladies who have accepted a large cash-payments in lieu of signing an "NDA" and agreed to keep their mouth shut...

...be required to live up to the legally binding agreement they committed to?

Or not?

Can we get you to sign an NDA to stop posting here

Actually, what I'm getting at is...

...should the 20 ladies who are entering into NDA's with Mr. Whip-It-Out expected to live up to their contractual obligations in return for the cash payments they will collect?

Or, once they collect the cash are they free to violate the legally-binding contract they signed and go on and spill the goods publicly?

What say ye?

They are subject to legal ramifications in some situations such as, say, blasting on a media platform for no purpose other than for defamation. That can include monetary.

But it’s not that simple. NDAs are not some sort of top secret kept until death issuance no one has a right to. NDA’s are a ‘private contract’ and are not exempt from the law. They aren’t exempt from a judge. The information is not even exempt from lawyers. They especially, aren’t exempt when similar behavior branches out into other, similar, separate crimes. Even if unrelated.

NDAs can be ordered to be disclosed under a variety of conditions and what the media does with it, should they be able to obtain the information, is not in the control of the designee or parties of the NDA.

    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
