The Hornets need to figure out a way to get rid of Hayward ASAP.

They probably have tried but maybe no takers.  If Bridges is looking for a max deal they should try to get something for him.  It’s a mess but I don’t see us giving him that deal with Jordan around.  My 2 cents

This is a agent move.. To get other teams money up on a bid for Miles.. Thinking they have a chance by increasing their signing money.. The Hornets have the room to sign Bridges and not go to the MAX..

The Pistons Athletic contributor seems to believe that the Pistons won’t be players in the big FA market as they need to sign five or so players to build out their roster.

"As I reported last week, even with room to sign a player to a max contract, the Pistons are unlikely to throw max offers at the likes of restricted free agents Deandre Ayton and Miles Bridges, though things can change. Instead, signs point to Detroit looking to add quality, veteran role players to pair with its young core as it furthers this rebuild."

Starting to hear that Hornets aren't giving out any max contracts so Miles has to consider taking a lot of money instead of max money.

Max money is all-star money. So for Miles, there goes at least two potential max contracts including hometown Detroit.

Why would the Hornets say they are giving a restricted free agent a max deal already? That makes zero sense since they can just match any offer Miles gets and will want to keep more cap space available for any other free agents they may want to sign.

    • Did we hear Corral will get more game time / a game plan?
    • Thanks to Anthony Rizzuti of Panthers Wire 1. QB Baker Mayfield: 80.5 2. OL Cade Mays: 79.1 3. WR Keith Kirkwood: 78.4 4. WR Derek Wright: 77.2 5. TE Giovanni Ricci: 75.5 33. TE Jared Scott: 46.5 34. C Pat Elflein: 45.6 35. QB Matt Corral: 43.3 36. RG Austin Corbett: 31.9 37: TE Nate Becker: 30.3   1. LB Cory Littleton: 92.8 2. CB Duke Dawson: 90.1 3. CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III: 82.1 4. LB Brandon Smith: 81.5 5. CB Tae Hayes: 77.0 31. LB Julian Stanford: 37.7 32. DT Daviyon Nixon: 37.4 33. LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley: 36.4 34. DT Bravvion Roy: 36.0 35. DT Frank Herron: 30.2 Take from it what you will. I would like to see all the grades, but I will say that it appears that the depth at DT is bad, while the same at CB looks good. Our LB corps may not be great, but its floor is probably average at worst. All in all, these grades are probably a pretty accurate reflection of the team's strengths and weaknesses at certain positions.
