Damn, nobody wants to work for Tepper. I honestly get that vibe from him. A real entitled asshole to work for

I think it might be the opposite. I think Tepper is pushing people out that are not good for what he is attempting to build.

what we know…..

1. Fired an extremely toxic coach for player morale

2.  One c-suite member left to go work for a corrupt organization

3. the guy who blundered the fort mill operation and pushed for turf field is gone

obviously I have no idea what the fug is going on, but one could possibly see that it’s not him, it could be them. Tepper brought a lot of people from top of org charts at other organizations, and it’s possible they all had philosophical differences.

Reminds me of Doctors, Attorneys and PhD's who start playing in real estate or ventures outside of their direct education.

Just because you can pass a test does not make you "smart".  Same with a billion dollars.  Just because you are successful in your one little niche, doesn't mean you can replicate it in another.

Seen it WAY too many times to count.

He's the one who hired all these guys though. And it's also likely he'd have had to approve at least some of their actions.

That scenario doesn't really help Tepper look any better.

Hiring is tough… very tough. As someone who hires about 30 direct reports per year… what you think you are getting vs what you actually get… there is a huge delta.

Granted, but the trends would tell me that Tepper isn't very good at it.

We know he hand picked Mike Hart, but do we know if he hand picked Glick and the other guy (forgot his name atm) ?

it’s not often that an owner is the primary decision maker at that level of hiring. He could have been involved in the interview process but ultimately left the up to his COO (Hart) to make the call.

I hope you’re right, but, unless some good results come from this turnover, it doesn’t look good.

Never seen any indication that these were hired by anyone other than Tepper.

Possibly 👍.

The business ops part of the Panthers front-office is fully 30 people and turnover is normal, too be expected for that matter…especially when an entirely new regime is being installed by a new owner.

Much ado about nothing… 🤘

But in all honesty how much do we really know inside those four walls? Just bc we don’t have indications… doesn’t mean it’s what’s happening. Everything is an assumption until leaks of insider info, which we have none.

Not exactly hard to find...

Panthers owner David Tepper hires Glick as team president

Tepper shuffles top execs for Panthers, Charlotte FC

Glick was initially hired as Panthers team president and later promoted to CEO of Tepper Sports. When he reportedly "stepped aside to pursue other opportunities", Kelly was named his successor in that role.

Given that's the highest official there is at the organization, is there any evidence whatsoever that anyone other than Tepper gave them the job?

I mean, if you really wanna pursue an "everybody's fault but Tepper's" argument, you're gonna need at least some small shoestring of evidence? Do you have that?
