It seems like those two statements directly conflict with one another.  Bashing him for taking pretty low cost swings for a qb then also saying he has to learn he cant win without a qb...

Both signs of irrational thought. The most valuable position, does not come cheap and thinking a bargain basement or journeyman will now succeed because he's on your team now is and was foolish and delusional and they keep doing it. The result will be the same.

Refusing to travel the cheaper, higher risk, greater reward route of going all in on the draft, QB of the future, drafting a good QB by all means necessary be it moving up or trading has been lost on ultra ego Tepper.

The guy in 5yrs has shown a ton of irrationality and obvious flailing. Obviously he had the cheat code for billions. A "cheat" is a cheat and lacks real merit, so when a fake is revealed to be fake, the incompetence is to be expected.

I'm calling fake. Somebody with true business acumen like Jerry Richardson with Hardee's then Bojangles and the Panthers makes it look easy in comparison to someone who was handed everything through systematic fractional pocket stuffing.

Exactly…

…patience will be rewarded 🤙.

Your guy doesn't seem very intelligent at all. He's not the cool hand.

Where does your blind allegiance come from? On the payroll?

If so get that money! A fool and his money shall very soon part.

What great QB would we have right now if you were in charge?

How does this "systemic fractional pocket stuffing" work?

Is this a long-hidden strategy only you (and Tepper) are aware of?

Also, where does the "handout" line start -- seems like a great gig!

There is a learning curve with every new owner, as there is with every new coach.

It is frustrating being in the midst of this, but we will get out of it.

Honestly, I'm not sure why.

I mean seriously, it's not rocket science.  The league has been around for a long time, look at the most successful teams over the past 30 years and look into what made them successful.  That's it really, its all right there in front of you.

What I see here isn't a mandatory learning curve, it was thinking that you were smarter than the others owners and team President types.

Hubris, ego, whatever you want to call it, but IMO it's not a "learning curve".

Ask Nancy. It's called insider something or other. The handout line is called Wall street.

Gravy train!

The ultimate secret to winning as an owner is putting the right people in charge.

That's something Tepper hasn't done. Nor has he shown he's able to do so.

Until he does, we're gonna continue to be bad.

Good question. Marty was all over Justin Herbert.

I would have moved heaven and earth to put that guy in a Panthers uniform.

Marty got overRhuled on that one.

I have no "allegiance" whatsoever but am willing to bet on the Appaloosa for a couple of reasons...

...(i) keen handle on the challenges and timing of complex turnarounds...

...and (ii) a true understanding of how Tepper put himself into a position to pay cash for the Carolina Panthers (and no it wasn't "systematic fractional pocket stuffing" 🤦‍♂️🤣) and how those skills will transfer...

...all that's required from you, is patience 👌.

As Whiny Aaron would say, R-E-L-A-X 🤘.

    • It's amazing how much yall can say the same things over and over and not annoy yourselves with it.
    • If you only look at measurables, Mingo and Legette might seem similar.  But when you actually look at them and watch them play, they aren't close to the same.   And this is coming from someone who is skeptical about Legette, although ultimately I believe he will work out.  I've just always disagreed with the comparisons to Mingo.   Mingo tests better than he plays/runs, whereas Legette plays/runs as well as he tests.
    • As bad as things were with the Panthers last year, we still had 4 other games outside of the 2 we won that we came very close to winning.  Could throw the Falcons game in there too, it was tied going into the 4th. I'm not really sure what to expect this year.  I don't think we'll make the playoffs.  However, we play in a very weak division where no team has a standout QB.  On paper, our OL should be good, and could be great if Ikem improves.  That alone could help mask a lot of problems on offense.  Should allow us to run the ball better.  Even if Bryce doesn't improve, the OL should at the very least give him more time to make the easy throws underneath and let a guy like Legette work his magic after the catch. And I think this defense in a 2nd year with Evero should, at the very least, be in the top 16.  I'm expecting our run defense to be as good as it has been in years. I think this team could push for 7-8 wins.  But it could also finish with 2 wins again.  That is just how the league works.  Jets offense was miserable last year, and yet they still won 7 games.   We won't really get a good feel of it until after the preseason, and even then, who knows.
