I won the last place match for my fantasy football league last year and my consolation prize is the #1 pick in the draft this year. So I'm torn.  Do I go with...

A) Jonathan Taylor - #1 running back last year and consensus first pick in mocks. Consistent, no injury baggage, a great offensive line in Indy or

B) Christian McCaffrey - the most dominant fantasy football weapon when healthy, Panthers star, and now with hopefully improved qb and offensive line play that should only make him shine brighter.

My heart says CMC. My brain says Taylor. I want to go with my heart. Am I being stupid? Is this why I always lose?

Also do you draft DJ Moore a round early or take a later round flier on Robbie Anderson anticipating Baker takes them to the next level? I really need a win this year. I think I'm almost $300 in the hole.

I'd take Taylor #1. I'd absolutely hate to have my fantasy money tied to CMC and have to halfway root for Rhule on my real life team to run him into the ground. If you do take the plunge to take CMC, you damn sure better make sure you draft Foreman in the last third of the draft as insurance.

I have DJ as a top 12-15 receiver. Putting him in the top 10ish, means you think he could out produce any of Kupp, Jefferson, Chase, Davante, Diggs, Deebo, Tyreek, Evans, Cee Dee Lamb, and/or Tee Higgins. I wouldn't draft him over those guys. He's in the next tier with Michael Pittman and AJ Brown for me.

I don't trust Robby too much. Ideally he's your WR5 or 6 for your fantasy team, with luck he would become a WR3 but I wouldn't draft him that high. TMJ might be worth a late round flier.

CMC is a better player than Taylor. But can you trust him to not be on IR when you’ll need him most? Pick Taylor. He is going to be an MVP candidate.

    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
