Well maybe I got mixed up in the replies but I thought you were bitching because Rhule was playing Corral behind a garbage line and that's the reason he got hurt and therefore he shouldn't have done so. If that wasn't the case then I apologize.

My frustration with Rhule stems from the limited practice time and the general feeling that he just didn't want anything to do with developing Corral at any point.

The Titans and even the Commanders have better coaching in place that understand what to do and not do with a young quarterback. Mike Vrabel has made Ryan Tannehill look serviceable come on.

This effectively ends any chance he gets a chance at starting next season.  He only had a slim chance to make it in the NFL to begin with so this injury severely hurts his chances.

Get well young man and don't give up. This team needs a miracle and it might as well be you.

Corral should have been getting snaps ahead of PJ but he was never going to get QB 2 reps so long as both Baker and Sam were on the team. To say otherwise is living in fantasy land and that's even without the QB comp. Had Baker been named QB1 out the gate Sam was still QB two while he remained on the team. Corral was always going to unfortunately okay with scrubs at times in preseason. Injuries just fuging happen sometimes, my god.

Sam Darnold is what he is. If he's our starting QB because Baker is injured the season is over anyway. Sam could run with 3rd string and it will produce the same result. A happy feet, 1 read QB that loves to throw the check down. No amount of starter or 2nd string reps is ever going to change that. We could very realistically now be going into the off-season with one QB on the roster that's been on IR all year. Zero knowledge in our QB room. That is asinine.

This is about looking beyond this season. You have to do it. Even if Corral is only taking 2nd string snaps during pre-season, he needed reps. Sam could have been backup during the season with Corral taking reps as 3rd qb when available.

We are on our 5th qb in 3 years. Unless we re-sign one of the 3 amigos, it will be 6. This coaching staff with the QB position is a fugging joke.

    • He has made some good throws yes. His arm isn’t great by any professional measure though It might be decent enough, but the poor footwork inhibits it.  So he has to really focus on that and from what I’ve seen he is not consistent.    peace.
    • If only Bryce were 8'1" then CJ wouldn't have needed Woody Marks to carry him against the Titans nor the defense to carry him with 3 picks vs. Cooper Rush. If he were a real QB, he'd have thrown for over 250yds and the Texans wouldn't be 2-3. /s See? I can do the same dumb, lame poo that y'all do. Doesn't this make the board a better experience overall? 🙂
    • Their defense is on track to be worse than ours last year. Their run D is in the bottom half but their pass D is horrible.    32nd overall D, 32nd passD, 23rd rush D We are going to have to throw the ball against them, which means down field where they are vulnerable. Problem is Turnover Fred struggles to push the ball down the field and we have the 26th ranked pass offense. Running will help but will have to beat them through the air. On the flip side, Dallas’ offense is awesome.    1st overall, 3rd pass, 8th run.    But Evero’s defense is ranked 12th right now with the pass D around 10th and rush D around 14th.    If we can take care of the football (looking at Bryce) and we make plays down the field (also looking at Bryce) we can win, yes.
