Who are some players to watch for the "surprise cut" that would help Carolina?

Was reading another forum that is a collection of NFL fans and they had a topic about "who are the surprise cuts for your team?". They had some interesting names but not a lot of chatter yet since there is still 2 more roster cut down dates.

The fans of each team went through the players and how/why they expect them to get cut but here are some names that I saw would be interesting for the Panthers.

Vinny Curry, Sheldon Rankins from the Jets...Jets have a deep front 7 and a number of young guys they invested high picks in.

Malik Reed from the Broncos...has started in over 26 games the past few years and would help in pass rush. He's an OLB for Denver but would be like Luvu was early on last year in pass rushing downs.

OJ Howard from the Bills...apparently not doing too hot and actually was playing well into the 4th quarter, they described him as look like Tarzan play like Jane but Buffalo is deep at TE anyway.

Any other names or surprise cuts y'all heard about?

Just now, Jackie Lee said:

I'll take any DT that can generate an ounce of pressure

Me too, but haven't seen many of those names thrown out yet, A LOT of people are predicting that teams are giving up early on a lot of early drafted O line but we might not have to worry about that this year.

D line are gold.
