The "always angry / it's never good enough" persona can sometimes be successful with college kids but doesn't work so well with adults. That's what did Mike Zimmer in with the Vikings.

Back when he was with the 49ers, by something like his fourth year, many of Harbaughs players had come to despise him.

They despised him all the way to the Super Bowl.  I'll take it!

It's what happened after that...

Basically, if you want a guy who can be successful for maybe three or four years, Harbaugh works.

If you're hoping for something longer than that though, you might be disappointed.

And if he doesn't win a Super Bowl in that window (like he didn't in San Francisco) youll have wasted your time.

Possible.

Remember he was supposedly a shoo in to get one of the jobs this year (Vikings I think) and then suddenly they just said "eeehhh...no".

Harbaugh tried to claim that it was his decision but most people saw that as bullsh-t.

Demeco Ryans is interesting. Jonathan Gannon too.

Flores I'm honestly not that certain of. I think fans overrate him somewhat.

I like Dorsey (and he's got the Greg Olsen endorsement) but it still seems too soon for him.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
