Some positivity regarding the current Roster

He caught some flack early, but Icky is really shining come late. With all the moving pieces surely about to fall in place, it’s nice to know we have this guy sealed up for the foreseeable future.

The roster is not as bad as our record the last couple years, but how good it is remains to be soon. Players like Ickey developing are great no matter what.

Plus one of our biggest impediments to actual player development is now gone.

I remember thinking he could get a lot out of players the first few weeks of 2020. How wrong I was...

The thing that has always worried me about icky is that he’s known as a great run blocking LT and his weakness is pass blocking. That’s not something  you want in a LT who’s main job is to protect the QBs blind spot.

I always felt that he could always be moved to guard if he sucked at LT and he would be a great guard. Let’s hope he keeps improving.

That "quarterback competition" thing was just beyond stupid.

I didn't mind it for the rookie... But the QB competition going as long as it did was asinine. Although seeing what we saw, maybe the coaches saw what we are seeing on the field from Baker and that is why, lol.

We should all grade rookies on their first couple of games lol. He was a prospect that needed some time but wasn't a project. He took his lumps and will have a few more yet but we have a legit LT now and hopefully a long time.

Really happy to see some of the young guys stepping up, especially our previous three 1st rounders that were being heavily criticized at the start of the season.
