This is all on Tepper

Remember when people thought posters looking forward to the draft were just being cynical and looking to tank and not looking at the Writing on the wall?

Don't get me wrong, I had accepted the tank because I figured Rhule would finish the season.

But Wilks gave me hope.  He was here when we won.  He knows what the culture should be.  I'm not even putting this on him.  This is all remnants of Rhule's toxicity and dysfunction boiling over.  I'm just saying, this is about as bad as it can get.  I've seen plenty of losing in my life as a Panthers fan.  We all have.  I've seen plenty of losing trams outside of the Panthers.  I've never seen them look this dysfunctional, disjointed, and cannibalistic.

PJ isn’t a pro QB - this game is so brutal

He shouldn’t be on an NFL roster. If we can sign a viable backup to replace him then PJ should be cut this week. Look at what NE is doing with their 3rd string QB Bailey Zappe

Ok so here is some real talk, it makes ZERO sense to waste time and energy complaining about Tepper, he isn’t going anywhere, he is the owner, unless he decides to sell which isn’t happening or some accusations of racist e-mails surface, he IS our owner.

All you can hope for is he learned his lesson and will now hire the right people next Time.

Agreed but this extends to the entire front office. I am reaching the point where we need a full house cleaning. Even with Tepper we can be better than this. The embarrassment you see today is the result of thinking we are outsmarting the rest of the league by wheeling and dealing like a used car salesman. Fitterer should probably go.

Fitterer is a very nice guy but he has no clue what he’s doing. He has to go

These posts are an embarrassment everything is not about Tepper. Give it a rest

He makes the decisions.  He set us back three years, minimum.  Who else do you think is responsible?  He has overseen the assembly of this entire shitshow we're currently witnessing.

I’m not sure Tepper knows how to steer through this pile of poo. Granted a number one pick and generational QB would help….but I don’t see that out there based in my limited college knowledge

we will trade people away for picks we will ourselves trade away….for poo like CJ Henderson who has no concept of tackling. Such a low point right now

I feel you, I like Wilks.

This offense is anemic, worse than last year somehow. Sam Darnold is still looking like our best QB on the roster.

At least we're hitting rock bottom in a year with some intriguing QB prospects.

No it’s not. He doesn’t play, he doesn’t coach, he signs checks. I don’t like the guy either but come on now.

Who hires the coach?  Who signs the checks?  It's his decisions.  No one else's.

He admitted he basically hired Fitterer as a patsy because Rhule had full control over personnel, which he allowed.  It's all on him.

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
