Calgary did an excellent job replacing Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk with Jonathan Huberdeau MacKenzie Weegar, and Kadri and will be a tough matchup.

Calgary reminds me of a better version of Columbus.

Tons of offensive firepower, average defense, though they did try to improve it with Weegar, and average to sometimes below average goaltending.

Good recipe for success in the regular season when teams aren’t locking everything down, but not a great recipe for success in the playoffs.

Edmonton annihilated both their defense and Markstrom in the playoffs last year, to the tune of 25 goals in 5 games to be exact.

They were second to us for the Jennings last season new roster but yea.... Playoffs are a different animal.

I watched a couple of those playoff games and, not having the opportunity to see much of either Calgary or Edmonton during the regular season, I was shocked. I was under the impression Calgary was the better team.
