Sounds like Scott Fitterer will continue as Panthers GM in '23

Another thing. I forget his name but there is a guy we have on staff who has worked closely with Fitterer who is from the Jets. Did Matt Rhule force him to do that too? I'm eager to see how he does without the college crap but it's a double edged sword because now he no longer has that card to play. It's all going to be him.

It’s pure speculation at this point but it makes too much sense with their history in Buffalo.

People like Fitterer because of the trades, but when you have Marty Hurney for 2 decades it’s hard to not like the next guy.

Besides, what has Fitt really done? He doesn’t get any of the blame for the cap mess and wasted capital? Matt Rhule had him in a chicken wing with his head pressed against the monitor making him make the deals? No.

Dorsey is a control freak if you can’t tell from how he handles himself on the field and in interviews. Those personalities gravitate towards people they are familiar with.

Our offensive line, for one. Hell, the roster really isn't bad at all, except for a rather obvious hole at signal caller.

Also, for the record, Fitterer and Morgan go back way further than Morgan and Dorsey do.

Dorsey's in no position to demand anything.

I’ve laid out his insane trades, crap extensions  and poo drafting in detail numerous times.  So yeah in closing fug fitt.    You however struggle to post something positive he has done.

I've said plenty (just like above) but generally I get a response of "fug fitt", so...

His was bidding against himself.

With no leverage. T2G was out the door and Rhule had made us desperate. That's not a position of strength to be negotiating from. The Jets could say no and we would still have to pursue it because the only other option was PJ Magic. The trade sucked for damn sure and I wanted no part of Darnold. I would have rather had Minshew for a 5th.

If hes remains, he did not chose poorly.

If he doesn’t, when do you think he gets another GM job? Name one team that would trade their GM for him. I fail to see the logic of going with an unproven(or awful) GM with an owner with tons of money and can do much better. The team is still 15M over next years cap(after RA) and is headed to the top pick. Is that good management? Or was Fitt just locked in his office all day?

Again just a simple what’s his best move and please don’t say Horn or Iky? I gave all my arguments plain and clear and you’ve come back with nothing. Just weak replies when you can’t answer.

Adios.

What's his best move but I can't name his draft picks?

Yeah, sure 😄

The roster that's been built here by Fitterer and Morgan, even with Rhule's influence hanging over him, looks decent overall except for the quarterback spot. The OL definitely looks improved, and that after only a single offseason. Hell, throw in that we've actually gotten returns for guys like Greg Little, Dennis Daley and Robbie Anderson.

Meanwhile, the crux of your argument is basically "he worked for Rhule".

So did a lot of guys, James Campen for example.

If you want to talk about weak arguments, that's one of the worst.

If you are planting the flag for fitt doing a good job by getting late round picks then holy fug it’s not even worth discussing with you.

texans may trade for him, raiders another. I thought the anderson move put them in the green for 2023, theres a couple reports stating that. Cap is a mess tho, again I asked, boss walks into your office below his and tells you "resolve the contract deal with robbie, ok, I dont care just get it done and him in the building".  Whos fault is it??

Rhule - " marty taught me one thing, you never know how the year plays out, so keep spending money on those loser players".

Finnsererr- "Consider it done"

Its clear Finnesererer wanted a GM job and when one out of the 31 opened- He even called Pat stewart to get him a interview, that was after tepper/rhule spent 2 weeks with little but the guy form 49ers and jeff ireland(whom i wanted).

If hes staying that means he must have gained some power and maybe even a raise....

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
