With our o-line against the Falcons terrible run defense any RB we put in would have had a field day. Notice when we put in Spencer Brown he got the same ypc as Foreman? Any jag RB we put in that game would have run wild.

You think foreman is a jag is crazy. The dude balled out last year filling in for Henry.

We're going to play some teams this season with actual good run defense and then we'll see. When he faced good run defense this season he looked like a jag or worse. Everyone is just high off of our typical "push the Falcons d-line around" game. We almost always run it down the Falcons throat because the Falcons are built for speed and high scoring, not stuffing the run. Spencer ran well, any RB off the street would have had a field day.

Lol they don't get that we played the bucs and Falcons back to back. Two of the worst run Ds out there and with Bozeman our line is vastly improved.

Run games are only as good as the holes opened up by the line.

Yes the Bucs d-line disintegrated on contact any RB could have run anywhere in that game. The Falcons didn't do much better. The rubber meats the road when the holes close faster and you have to make quick decisions fast, and something out of nothing.

Everything is whacked out on the Carolina Panthers 2022 football team. You have no idea what you will see from week to week.

It makes it hard to know where the slack is. I don’t think it is Foreman being not good. If you saw him with Tenn last year you wouldn’t be up in his stuff about it. The offense is out of synch. Still.

If I start doing more illustrations it's going to get ugly in this forum. I'll leave it be for now, but these players need to step up.

Every single player asked about it said they were overwhelmed with McAdoos playbook in OTA's/training camp. I'm not surprised it's still out of sync, more plays than an average playbook doesn't mean they're better plays, just increases the chances of someone getting confused on the field

    • I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.
    • We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.
    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
