*sighs* If someone offered two firsts for Burns, you check with your sources around the league until you identify one who confirms from the team that offered. Obviously, as the reporter you can't state which team, because that would come pretty close to outting your source with his own team.

Does someone really need to explain this Mickey Mouse poo to you, or are you the sole arbiter of how the real world works?

Really?

*sighs* same poo different player.

Listening hardly means the team is dealing McCaffrey. If the Panthers do not receive what they feel is a real offer -- with a high draft pick or multiple picks -- they are adamant that they will hold on to McCaffrey past the NFL's Nov. 1 trade deadline, sources told ESPN.   Adam Schefter

Does someone really need to explain this Mickey Mouse poo to you or are you still stuck to a "credible" reporters tit sucking down all the smoke screen.

Really?

That didnt happen.  Cmac went to the team after the rams game and said thats it I want out.

And on top of that, what would we do with a 1st round pick from the trade?

Immediately look for a pass rushing DE that we can only hope is as good as Burns.   Trading him makes absolutely no sense.

Yeah the caveat with that being that you don’t have to pay the draft pick 25+ million a year, which is what BB is going to be looking at here soon.

I wish our dumbass franchise would already commit to a full rebuild, since we badly need to do it. There is no way in hell Burns is signing a deal with us after his contract expires, unless we are offering him double the pay as the next closest team. Unless the 2 1st rounders were in the years 2025 or later, I don't understand how you turn down 2 first round picks for a guy that will be gone after next season...

Again with the failed reading comprehension. You're just discrediting your own argument that Schefter isn't reporting credible information. They dealt McCaffrey, exactly as Shefter said for multiple picks.

Are you really not reading the stuff you're even quoting?

Then you can't even be bothered to write your own post, trying to be clever by parroting mine back at me. Dude. Stop. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point.

Let’s look at how replacing players has gone thus far in the Tepper Era:

QB: downgrade
RB: downgrade
WR: downgrade
TE: downgrade
OL: push
DL: downgrade
LB: downgrade
CB: downgrade
S: push

Yeah, more picks works out well.

How about we try it with a real HC?

Makes sense.  The more picks in 2023 the better.  I'm not talking rounds 4-7.  I am talking rounds 1-3.  These are the rounds where you can get starter talent.

I am in agreement with a couple of the other posters.  If Philly is in the Burns sweepstakes than their two first round picks puts them at the head of the line.

The other players you mentioned we MUST get good value for them.  I don't want to see DJ or Horn go for any less than what we drafted them plus some.  Moore and Horn are 1st rounders.  I want 1st rounders and at minimum one additional day 2 pick.

If you are going to gut this team and rebuild.  Than, I would like most of those picks this year and some next.

Just imagining our own 1st, Philly's two 1st, two additional 1st for Horn and DJ.  That's 5 first rounders.  Currently two 2nds, three 3rds (Horn and DJ) and our lower round picks.  You could take a couple of those 1st rounders, trade down for even more picks.  We would make a huge haul as long as Fitterer doesn't pull a Hurney with the 2nd rounders. 😁

That said we would be looking at another losing season in 2023 only because we have so many inexperienced players but going into 2024. Watch out.

Yes, but it would be much more fun to watch than what we've had the past few years

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
